Al Ahly, the African club of the century, left Niamey, the capital of Niger, after winning 1:0 over AS Sonidep team on Wednesday 23 Dec., in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African ChampionsLeague.

Alkan team was at the disposal of the Al-Ahly team during their presence in Niger, and till the end of the team’s successful mission. Captain Sayed Abdel Hafeez, Al Ahly’s football director, thanked Engineer Amr Al-Sahrawi, Alkan Niger projects manager for the great efforts he made with the Al-Ahly team during their mission, his keenness to continuously communicate and follow-up in order to finalize all arrangements and overcome all obstacles.

The communication between Alkan and Al Ahly started upon the qualification of the AS Sonidep team to the 32nd leg of the African Champions League through Engineer Muhammad El Shazly, Anglophone Africa Countries sales manager, who was the focal person with Al Ahly team, leveraging on his network in the football sector.

Alkan CIT through its different subsidiaries in the African continent is keen to fulfill its social responsibility towards all Egyptian delegates. Engineer Ahmed El Khashab, Alkan Africa CEO commented, “We have a duty to act in the best interests of our society as a whole”, also it is worth mentioning that the Egyptian team success in achieving a 1-0 victory outside their home, would facilitate their mission to qualify to the group stages in the AFCL.
